We have had clients recently infected by the CryptoLocker Virus by clicking on emails. DO NOT CLICK on emails from FedEx or others with attachments! Make sure your entire staff is informed and call us with any questions or concerns.

It's important that you and your entire staff are familiar with what they are and how they can be prevented. Cyber attacks can come in the form of ransomware, malware, a virus, trojan and more. - Be careful with emails from senders you don't know, especially those with attached files. Do not click on them and do not try to open the attachments.
- Be cautious of emails from senders you do know with attachments you are not expecting.
- Do not pay any ransom fees or otherwise comply with hacker requests.
- Make sure your anti-virus and malware protection software are up-to-date.
- Ensure you have a regular (at least daily) backup and have verified your backup is working.
- Have a disaster recovery plan in place. Know who to call and how to get your data backup files in the event you need them.
