TRICARE Update for eClaims
May 24, 2017Effective May 1, 2017, United Concordia will be administrating the TRICARE Dental Program (TDP), replacing the previous contractor, MetLife. Starting May 1, all claims for TRICARE should be submitted using Payer ID 89070.
Note: Within XLDent, it is best to maintain the integrity of previously submitted claims (both unpaid and paid). Create a new Carrier with all of the new information, and link the new Carrier to each affected Subscriber. A list of patients for a specific Carrier can be ran in Reports - Listings - Patient by Insurance Carrier.
