Customize your Perio Exam Display
Aug 28, 2017What do you chart in a perio exam? You can set your perio exam to show things that you want to focus on. See how you can set a custom measurement display in the Perio Exam Options.
Pocket and Recession. This option should be used when charting only Pocket and Recession values. It's the best one for displaying exam values at the largest font for the best visibility.
Pocket, Recession and MGJ. This option shows all three Exam values and will display at the smaller font size to fit them on the chart.
Pocket, Recession and CAL. The Pocket and Recession along with the calculated Clinical Attachment Level (CAL) will also display values at the smaller size font.
If you don't chart MGJ or need CAL, the choice for the largest font size and best visibility is the Pocket and Recession option.
Reminder: Perio exam options are customizable per user in XLDent.
