Customer Service Week – Work Together. Succeed Together.

We kicked-off Customer Service week Monday, October  7th with a week full of learning and activities.  Our theme this year is “Work Together. Succeed Together.”  “Think Service” by putting ourselves in our client’s shoes as a way to better accommodate their needs.

During the week we held daily huddles to discuss topics such as the latest HIPAA rules and how they continue to change our working environment.  We also talked about this from our client’s perspective and how day-to-day operations in a dental practice are greatly affected by the necessary changes in workflow.   We talked about the types of questions our clients may have concerning XLDent’s Electronic Dental Record and how we can better assist them be compliant, while continuing to move their businesses forward.

We reviewed our XLDent website to stay familiar with the tools we provide to our clients. We also talked about more efficient ways we can help our clients successfully transition to XLDent and a paperless workflow from other packages.

We didn’t stop there!  We provided daily games to test our job knowledge such as Office Bingo; and, team building activities like a getting to know you quiz and creative connections.

To top off the week we held our very first Office Olympics!  We set up a chair race course in our Hardware Department, followed by a rubber band shooting game (which proved to be a lot harder than one would think), and finished by setting up an appointment in the XLDent software to print out an appointment reminder card.  Each team was timed. We allowed the teams to come together to design their own team flags for this event.   It was interesting to see how the dynamics of each team played out for each event.  The chair race proved to give us all quite a bit of laughter!  After the teams went through the course we had the two teams with the best times race a final round to see who got bragging rights. Since the two best teams had already run the course, we decided to throw in some curve balls. This caused some confusion, but allowed our management team to show some pride while watching their staff get through the changes using on-the-spot troubleshooting techniques and tactics.

All-in-all we had a great week, learned a bunch, and laughed a ton!  Our XLDent Team Rules!
