“Baby it’s cold outside!” …as the Tom Jones song goes.  It has been frigid since the first of January and this past week has been brutal!   Temperatures plunged to 25-35 degrees below zero across Minnesota and wind chills of 60 degrees below zero were reported in northern and central Minnesota.  “Brrr!”

We diehard Minnesotans were very well prepared for the Polar Vortex with hats, mittens and boots.  The XLDent Team made the most of their  time indoors  by being super productive in these first two weeks of the year.  By this time next year, all hospitals and health care providers must have in place an electronic health records system, so we are already booking installations through first quarter.  To assist our user base transition more smoothly to XLDent’s EDR (electronic dental records) system, we just published an EDR Toolkit full of sample SOP’s.  These SOP’s were written to help dental teams enter electronic data accurately and consistently.  This is key to building a fully functional electronic records system.  The EDR Toolkit is located on the XLDent website in the Member Services area and we encourage all of our clients to download it and customize the SOP’s to meet the needs of their office.
